Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Our team will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel near the city’s heritage sites. Evening briefing about the trek.

Day 2Kathmandu Sightseeing & Permit Preparation

Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa while we arrange restricted area permits for the trek.

Day 3Drive to Soti Khola (710m) – 8/9 hrs

A long but scenic drive along the Trishuli and Budhi Gandaki Rivers, passing green hills, small villages, and waterfalls before reaching the starting point.

Day 4Trek to Machha Khola (930m) – 6 hrs

The trail winds through terraced fields, tropical forests, and Gurung villages. Cross suspension bridges and follow the Budhi Gandaki River to Machha Khola.

Day 5Trek to Jagat (1,410m) – 6/7 hrs

Walk through rocky trails and cross the river multiple times. Jagat is a traditional Gurung village where the restricted area permit is checked.

Day 6Trek to Deng (1,804m) – 6 hrs

Trek through bamboo forests and farmland with stunning views of Sringi Himal. Deng marks the entry into Buddhist-influenced areas.

Day 7Trek to Namrung (2,630m) – 6 hrs

Pass through mani walls and Tibetan-style villages. From Namrung, enjoy panoramic views of Ganesh Himal and Himal Chuli.

Day 8Trek to Lho (3,180m) – 4/5 hrs

A short, scenic walk through rhododendron forests. Visit the impressive Ribung Monastery, with mesmerizing views of Manaslu.

Day 9Trek to Samagaon (3,530m) – 4 hrs

Gradual ascent to Samagaon, a beautiful Sherpa village at the foot of Mt. Manaslu. Explore local culture and mountain life.

Day 10Acclimatization Day in Samagaon

Rest day to adapt to the altitude. Optional hikes to Manaslu Base Camp (4,800m) or Pungyen Gompa for closer mountain views.

Day 11Trek to Samdo (3,875m) – 4 hrs

Cross high pasture lands and yak herding areas. Samdo lies near the Tibetan border, rich in trading and cultural influence.

Day 12Trek to Dharamsala / Larkya Phedi (4,460m) – 4 hrs

Short hike but gaining altitude. Stay at a basic lodge at the foot of Larkya La Pass, preparing for the big crossing.

Day 13Cross Larkya La Pass (5,160m) β†’ Bimthang (3,720m) – 8/9 hrs

The most challenging and rewarding day. Cross the snow-covered Larkya La Pass, with incredible views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, and Annapurna II, then descend to Bimthang.

Day 14Trek to Tilije (2,300m) – 5/6 hrs

Descend through rhododendron forests, lush fields, and charming villages. Tilije is known for apple orchards and Gurung culture.

Day 15Trek to Dharapani (1,960m) & Drive to Besisahar – 6/7 hrs

Short trek to Dharapani, where the Manaslu Circuit connects with the Annapurna Circuit trail. From here, a jeep drive takes you to Besisahar.

Day 16Drive Back to Kathmandu – 6/7 hrs

Return to Kathmandu along mountain roads and settle back into your hotel. Farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 17Final Departure

Transfer to airport for your flight home or continue with another adventure in Nepal.
