Itinerary

Day 1Arrival In Kathmandu (1400m.)

Arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu ,and Transfer to Sherpa Home Hotel Near Swoyambhu Stupa.

Day 2Preparation Day

Today is all about getting ready for the Himalaya. attend briefings or orientations provided by our company and Take some time to explore Kathmandu if you have the energy, perhaps visiting some of its iconic landmarks Swayambhunath Stupa.

Day 3Drive Kathmandu to Jhapre (2800m)

It’s time to hit the road! Depart from Kathmandu and begin your journey towards Jhapre, the starting point of your trek. Enjoy the scenic drive through picturesque landscapes as you make your way to the trailhead.

Day 4Jhapre to Ripal (2600m)

The trek begins today as you set off from Japre towards Ripal. Lace up your hiking boots, take in the fresh mountain air, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Himalayas as you trek through rugged terrain and charming villages.

Day 5Explore Sherpa Village

Explore around the village, river , stupa etc

Day 6Trek to Kilkhording (3000m)

Trek to Kilkhiording Monastery. Enjoy the scenic hike through forested trails and across mountain streams.
Arrive at Kilkhiording Monastery, a spiritual retreat nestled in the Himalayan foothills. Explore the monastery grounds, visit prayer halls and meditation rooms, and learn about the history and teachings of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 7Explore around Kilkhording

Enjoy the panoramic Mountain view , explore Monk residents / traditional retreat house, Monastery and Stupas.

Day 8Trek to Taklung (3300m)

Trek to Taklung through the Himalayan medow, Himalayan pine, Rhododendron forest

Day 9Taklung to Pikey Base camp (3700m)

Continuing our trek, we make our way to Pikey Base Camp. The trail rewards us with breathtaking views of Himalaya valleys, Himalaya pine forest and rhododendron forest. Optional : if you don’t wish to go up to pikey peak, you can stay at Taklung with relaxing view of the Himlayan medow , view and meditation or relaxing or trek to Jhapre.

Day 10Hike for Sunrise view on Pikey peak 4000m and trek to Jhapre

Today, we wake up early to hike up Pikey Peak approx 1 hour, As you reach the summit of Pikey Peak, the world unfolds before your eyes in a breathtaking spectacle that will stay etched in your memory forever. The panoramic view from Pikey Peak is a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of snow-capped peaks, lush valleys, and charming villages. You are greeted by the Himalayan range including the majestic Mount Everest itself, standing tall as the pinnacle of the world. The Everest region’s prominent peaks, such as Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam, and also Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world, Langtang range, with Langtang Lirung and other peaks .
