The Nar Phu Valley Trek is one of Nepal’s most remote and culturally rich Himalayan adventures. Nestled in the northern Annapurna region, the hidden valleys of Nar and Phu were off-limits to outsiders until 2003, making them a true off-the-beaten-path experience.
This trek offers a unique combination of pristine high-altitude landscapes, ancient Tibetan villages, Buddhist monasteries, and snow-capped Himalayan peaks such as Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. The route passes through alpine meadows, yak pastures, and high desert terrain, culminating at the Kang La Pass (5,320m) before descending to Manang.
The Nar Phu Trek is perfect for trekkers seeking solitude, cultural immersion, and high Himalayan adventure without the crowds of Annapurna or Everest regions.
